Intelligent Rep Filtering
βMetric already does a lot of work to filter out unrack and rerack ghost reps from your set, but sometimes they still sneak in, especially the catches on jumps or Olympic lifts. Now Metric performs a second sweep and auto-hides any suspected false detections from the set. If it gets it wrong, just scroll down to the set review and unhide the rep to add it back into your set data.

What's new π¨
A New Name
βThe Metric VBT app is now simply Metric. For as long as we've been on the App Store, we've been talking about how bar speed tracking is about so much more than velocity-based training. Find us in the App Store under "Metric - Barbell Tracker" and join us in this next chapter of intelligent strength training.
RPE chart
βAlongside load-velocity and power profiling, you can now access a complete RPE chart for your workouts. This chart takes your top set's RPE, weight, and reps to calculate ideal weights across all RPE values and rep rangesβperfectly calibrated to help you nail your working sets.
Record badges and PR table
βTrack your progress with new performance badges comparing your current sets against all-time bests for load, velocity, power, and reps. Find your complete personal records log on the Performance page, showing detailed progress for every exercise.
Enhanced video features
βAccess velocity recording settings directly from the video screen, enjoy full-screen recording with larger controls, and browse your training history in the new grid view library. Pro users can now manually select which videos to save to their library.
Velocity tracking toggle
βSometimes you just want to log your workout without tracking velocity on every set. Toggle velocity tracking off in training preferences for a streamlined workout tracking experienceβperfect for those quick sessions when you just need to log your sets. You can also long press on a single set to have it manually completed when velocity tracking is enabled

Improvements β¨

This update means more workouts will display 1RM values, including sessions with smaller weight ranges.
